Along with work with the Australian Defence Force Cultural Reform Collaboration, I have expertise in a range of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social justice issues.My key experience includes:* Research, consultation, drafting and production of numerous Social Justice Reports. The Social Justice Report is tabled in the Australian Parliament and influences Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs agendas. * Subject matter expertise in a range of social justice issues including Indigenous over representation in the criminal justice system, child protection and, Stolen Generations healing and reparations. * I was instrumental in bring the concept of 'justice reinvestment' to Australia and was involved in development of practical applications with the community in Bourke.* I have provided strategic advice, drafted speeches and briefings for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioners, Tom Calma and Mick Good.
