Highlights: •  Generative AI: Responsible for the ideation, prototyping, and leading end-to-end AI implementation of Prolific, our multilingual conversational AI platform powered by retrieval augmented generation (RAG). Implemented and deployed Prolific's AI system consisting of a fully customised state-of-the-art LLM engine, a vector database instance for embedding storage, and a RAG orchestration pipeline for semantic retrieval and large context optimisation. •  Scanned bank statement analysis: Initiated and led the development of InsightsOCR, a suite of OCR and DocVQA models trained in-house with state-of-the-art deep-learning algorithms to enable large-scale processing and analysis of scanned bank statements on Periculum Insights, a credit assessment platform used by 130+ enterprise customers across Africa. • Fraud monitoring and detection: Currently leading the development of a large-scale engine for automated financial transaction monitoring and real-time analysis to provide insights and fraud indicators using custom-defined thresholds. Designed and implemented a suite of machine learning and NLP algorithms for the detection capability, to identify anomalies in transaction frequency, behavioural and spend patterns, and classify fraudulent transactions with low latency and high throughput.
