Producer of Voices of Samoa, the University of Auckland's contribution to documentary series Ser Un Ser Humano, produced by EICTV in Cuba. "Six standalone feature documentaries exploring a universal human need as defined by a Kenyan woman farmer: Sustenance, Love, Faith, Culture, Fear and Hope. Shot by emerging filmmakers from seven film schools in eight diverse communities around the world - Samoa, Colombia, Jordan, Harlem, Madrid, Portugal, Calcutta and the Dominican Republic, it is a collective portrait of humanity today." Responsibilities:Overseeing the production of a one-hour documentary depicting the everyday lives of the people of a small village in Savai'i, Samoa. Collaborative pre-production workshops for the series took place at EICTV in Cuba. On-set creative producer for a month-long shoot in Samoa: managing crew, budget, shoot schedules and collaborating with the director to shape narrative and create shoot scripts. Overseeing initial post-production in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, ensuring all deliverables sent to EICTV as required.
