    This position requires the supervision of several employees and conveyer belt lines. They are tasked with checking load quality for each individual truck to make sure they meet safety and company standards. New employees are the lead's responsibility and must be trained properly to be an effective part of the outbound team. Leads must make the call on when a trailer is full enough to be closed out, the lead must then record the data on each trailer going out of their section and report it to floor control so that it can depart to the designated Target store.When a new trailer arrives, the lead, or someone personally trained by the lead, must open the trailer up by inputting the trailer number so that the build up, also known as research, from the sky deck belts can be cleared to keep production smooth. A lead is in charge of keeping all lines cleared and clog free, they must walk end to end, checking each individual line to make sure the production light doesn't have a box blocking them, causing the skydeck belts to not release boxes down that line and causing a large amount of research. All disputes between associates in their section comes to them and they do their best to resolve said issue quickly and calmly to keep altercations to a minimum.
