March – April 2011.I cased the work of scientists involved in a well managed Community of Practice platform that allowed for knowledge capture re: (a) the spread of best practice; (b) the investment in new knowledge to reduce food waste and; (c) the improvement of evidence base research on which decisions are made to direct policy prescriptions for developing countries. Foresight is critical in this regard especially where reducing food waste in post-harvest systems is a global priority in managing the contribution of the food supply to climate change. Foresight (as a planning tool) and evidence based research are key components in knowledge management processes and for scenario planning.

Assisted with the development of a framework for an integrated Enterprise Content Management System, which would allow for the sharing of information and knowledge across boundaries and to include a directory of lessons learned. Project Managed and Coordinated VYBZING – a CDB Forum for Youth in Development which facilitated knowledge exchange on sustainable economic development issues for the Region’s youth as key partners in development.
