Designed GFF Middle School Initiative to empower Baltimore City school student in areas of systemic weakness and improve chances for high school success. Extensive work with Board including strategic planning, mentorship on education reform and non-profit sector issues. Developed a bi-annual continuing education program for the the Trustees. Served three years as Chair of the Education Affinity Groups of the Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers.

Spearheaded a coalition of Bolton Hill and Reservoir Hill neighborhoods to create the Midtown Academy, now recognized as one of Baltimore's outstanding progressive public schools. Directed Start-up during first two years of operations. Over next eight years moved into strategic planning, development and public relations roles. Chaired Resource Development Committee, coordinated school's fundraising campaigns. Developed and ran both Admissions and Parent Volunteer programs for the first years, supervising those programs thereafter.

Compiled, edited and co-authored numerous poressional and lay pupblications. Served as Chair of the Painting Specialty Group of the American Institute for Conservation. Fellow of the AIC. Compiler of Varnish Catalogue.
