Partner Relations (Communications & Engagement):The purpose of the position is to run programmes/activities to achieve the following objectives likeimproving the communications with drivers, focusing on hired out rate through relationship building. The challenging part is to assist drivers to achieve the desired income earning and improve Taxi Availability (TA) performance through various communication channels like (e.g. dialogue sessions) and improving driver's engagement rate. Lastly, the objective is to ensure excellence and positive day by day operations of the communications and engagement section.Communication:The role include making decision and put up recommendation from driver's appeal and understanding the next course of action.With efficient management, this role requires handling of communications from all channels which includes appeals from drivers and replies / letters to MP. To liaise with Corporate Marketing Communication on feedback and media queries, car decals design and printing.Engagement:For engagement role, it requires regular engagement with drivers and monitor closely on their TA performance. To educate drivers and track their TA with reports to the management. This role also requires regular engagement with Union (SMRT Taxi Operators' Associate (STOA)) and National Taxi Association ((NTA)). With multiple activities, the engagement role also requires looking at welfare of the drivers and to review the benefits and package (e.g. bursary, helping hand funds). Lastly, events and projects like (E.g. carnival, charity and AED project) requires regular engagement sessions.(Refer to Sales & Recruitment)

The focus of this position is mainly to formulate Strategic plans and schemes to recruit Private (PHV) / taxi Drivers. Engage marketing plan, pricing schemes and understand in depth of current competitive market development. This role requires to supervise a team of 2 executives and 8 supervisors and be responsible for the performance and sales figure. Leading the Sales & Recruitment team to work closely with various departments to ensure driver's need are met in a timely and accurate fashion.Decision Making Authorities includes:Leading full team functionality. Approve staff's overtime, incentives claim, leave application and decision recommendation on day-to-day operations of Sales & Recruitment department.Specific Responsibilities:To ensure key performance indicators of the departments are met on both hired out rate and taxis rental revenue. To formulate, execute and review Sales & Recruitment processes and guidelines to improve hired-our rate. To have proper planning and execution of driver recruitment strategies and constantly reviewing competitor's taxis rental rates and incentives package. Lastly, to provide annual annual budget and monitor operating expenses.Marketing:To work closely with marketing design team on promotional efforts, activities, carnival,roadshows and etc. Involving with Singapore Taxi Academy (STA), setting up of new office. Handling the social media platform (Group owner of SMRT Taxi Share / SMRT Strides / Driver Career Centre). Taxis Schemes:Coming up not only standard season schemes but also promotional schemes with an outstanding rating for the project launch of PRI50, EPI50 and other promotion scheme. With PRI50 and EPI50 scheme with the rate of 50%, targeted by management to reach 300 taxis, Sales & Recruitment under the lead by me, hitting 200% rate of vehicle collection which caused extremely high demand of vehicles and triggered multiple drivers from other operators registration under the promotional scheme.
