Thought of a breakthrough in High Temperature Superconductors, and formed a company to research and develop its application. This led to a series of more innovations which should lead to a) the end of strategic nuclear missiles and b) Hypersonic Glide Vehicles comparable to China's among other applications. I am an Elder of the Tikar tribe from Kong village in the Centre Province of Cameroon in Africa. The Tikar are a declining tribe from whom many African-Americans are descended. They were once driven from their northern fishing grounds by mounted slave raiders to the marginal lands the Tikar now occupy in a transition zone from savannah to jungle.

Restarted a PhD program for the project described below in quotes. Opened my mouth a bit too often about other projects (ahhhh . . . t'is wonderful to be back in the land of intellectual discovery and freedom!). After only about a month, got "kicked upstairs" (or I should say I hope it is upstairs?) to Visiting Researcher starting 1 April 2016. Much more freedom to do research on different topics, no tuition fees. Sounds like one form of heaven on earth."Launching a new social enterprise to bring sustainable solar power to rural villagers. The project has research implications in the use of existing community structures and technology advances to address problems of low capital, low income and remote access typically found in poor rural areas. Field tests will start in Cameroon then spread to other areas."
