     Led a complete shift comprising 80 permanent & apprentice employees and 20 contracted workers. Responsible for all efficiency, quality, EHS and waste related KPIs for the entire shift.  Led the shift team to achieve production targets against short term plans (STP). Plan and produce the brands on number of machines keeping machine performance in mind. Ensure work place behavior rules are followed on the production floor by the workers. Make everyone comply with the company’s safety policy with 100% PPE compliance. Supervise the machine performance and housekeeping/ workplace sanity. Communicate within maintenance and other shift teams to plan and implement timely maintenance via autonomous and help maintenance team during breakdown maintenance of the machines. Ensure product quality specifications are met and maintained during production. Maintain production of quality products on the production floor and stick with quality policy of the company by producing internationally recognized tobacco products with the help of latest state of the art techniques, keeping environment, health safety and proper use of natural resources in mind. Report and discuss all ideas, opportunities and odds related to the production, safety, workplace environment and quality of the product with the higher management.
