    I joined the Jowett Motor Group in 2010 as CFO, responsible for the accounting policies, procedures and controls for JMG as well as the 5 dealerships within our network.Managing a team of 11 staff I am dedicated to firstly meeting and then continuously improving KPI’s.     I commenced with Barloworld in the role of Financial Controller before being promoted to Group Financial Controller in September 2005. In the role of Financial Controller I was accountable for the financial hygiene of the dealership accounts, submission of monthly financial reporting to corporate office, financial analysis of department results and balance sheet, development of accounting controls and procedures and administration of the ERA (Reynolds & Reynolds) dealer management system. I led and managed 10 administration staff, requiring me to assess performance and provide career development plans on a regular basis.As Group Financial Controller I was responsible for the maintenance and development of financial controls, policies and procedures for nine dealerships. This involved overseeing inventory management, cost control management, management of retail finance and insurance relationships, strategic planning, financial analysis, consultation on special projects, bi-yearly dealership reviews and addressing under performance.Key Achievements:- Undertook the Leadership Development Program at the University of Pretoria- Ran “Cost Down Project” that saved the business $800,000 per annum- Improved the accounting processes using ERA DMS
