    I'm responsible for the e-Transfer migration over the Real-Time Rail (RTR) Program within Interac. The initiative aims to (a) replace the existing bilateral settlement with the real-time gross settlement model in Interac e-Transfer network. Interac's customers, i.e. banks and credit unions, will settle every transfer immediately after it is deemed final, removing any credit risk in the ecosystem. (b) process the real-time transfers over Payments Canada-owned RTR.My role includes providing thought leadership around this program's many facets, such as the settlement mode, participation model, and liquidity analysis. I often present ideas to the Canadian financial industry in workshops with 200+ attendees.Within Interac, I work closely with my technology partners in designing the artifacts published for the Canadian financial industry. I also opine on the policies to the e-Transfer product owing to RTR. Externally, I interface with Payments Canada to ensure seamless migration of Interac's customers, i.e. banks and credit unions, over to the new payment processing and settlement methods.

    The 'Product Owner' for Interac EUF Program (~ $17 million); responsible for aligning strategy, process and technology to achieve business results.Led the vendor evaluation process for TD's Payments Processing Engine. To make an informed and objective selection, I designed a proof-of-concept in which vendors simulated payment instructions processing instead of a 'sales presentation.'Awarded League of Excellence 2017 (top 3% across TD) in recognition of Interac EUF Program's success — TD acquiring 80% of customer registrations industry-wide in the first three months of launch.
