      I have been working since I was 16 years old. Started out working in a bakery, after High School I went to work for Bethlehem Steel Company, we lived in the town owned by the company, Sparrows Point, after marriage and 5 children I worked part time in department stores, sometimes on the floor and other times in security. I sang in nightclubs, directed church choirs and sang as a church soloist for many years.
