Costa’s London railway stations stores are some of the busiest and most important to the group, an exciting and challenging environment for managers and baristas alike. At Paddington, I was responsible for growing sales by over 11% year on year for four years, and received 100% ‘WINCARD” performance rating (corporate performance measurement). I was proud to develop seven baristas into managers in the space of four years and to complete successful secondments at high profile locations including Waterloo Station and Heathrow Terminal Five. I received a number of corporate awards and made a wider impact through coaching and training other managers in the region, including some destined to work in franchises abroad.
