I was the owner's Personal Assistant, the admin assistant for the company and the workshop manager.I performed all admin related duties such as: filing, invoicing, quoting, submissions of VAT and EMP, internet banking, debtors and creditors, valuations, estimations, customer care, handling of client and website inquiries, attending to all correspondence related to the company, liaising with the accountant on a regular basis regarding the jewllery studio and the art division, preparation of various excell sheets, handling of budget matters. Maintenance of records.As a personal assistant: management of the owner's diary, liaising with the accountant on behalf of the owner in his personal capacity, scheduling both private and business appointments, internet banking, handling of personal correspondence, and spending many hours in research for art related projects.Liaising with publishing houses on behalf of owner regarding the art division. Photography and editing (Photoshop) for both jewellery and art. Preparation of images for websites and catalogues, for printing companies.As workshop manageress:Ensuring a high level of security at all times, management of the metal register and managing of goods on approval, ensuring that staff records were kept and up to date, handling of staff leave and payment of salaries, opening and closing of studio on a daily basis, dressing display units and responsible for general tidiness of studio. Ordering of metal and diamonds and gemstones, and stock control. Liaison with clients on behalf of jeweller for jewellery pieces, minor design assistance where necessary. Email correspondence with international clients, 'design of jewellery pieces' via email when necessary. Liaison with suppliers on behalf of owner.
