    Our team developed an open space for individuals to engage with academic content outside of a traditional academic model and promote community building around the Johns Hopkins brand. This team is the hub connecting the broad Hopkins community to opportunities, programs, and expertise from our faculty, staff, and alumni leaders focused on the continued pursuit of academic and professional enrichment. Key programs include Hopkins at Home and Odyssey, as well as engagement opportunities around industry verticals. In direct response to a request from the Office of Johns Hopkins president, this office manages relationships across all Johns Hopkins divisions. It engages with students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community stakeholders to meet the complex needs of the Johns Hopkins community in its broadest definition.

    With the support of NHGRI and NIH, established and led a residential research experience for high school students designed to encourage academically gifted students who self-identify with an underrepresented minority group to pursue careers in research science, particularly in the fields of genetics and genomics. Expanded model to include non-minority students across STEM disciplines - engineering, computational biology, neuroscience, computer science, and biological science.Led and maintained collaborative partnerships with Northwestern University's Civic Education Project to execute residential, academic & service-learning experiences for 10th - 12th grade students at UC Berkeley and JHU's Peabody Institute. Programming included a curriculum in social responsibility and service learning.Led and maintained collaborative partnership with the Living Classroom Foundation to execute residential, experiential learning programs - on land and at sea.Activities included residential program management, curriculum development, student and faculty recruitment, college counseling, grant and research writing, and program evaluation. and community development.
