    Developed and implemented a heat exchanger performance tracking system that integrated a commercial heat exchanger simulator, a proprietary plant-wide Oracle process management information system, and a graphical user interface in Visual Basic. Major contributor to the architectural design and implementation of a plant-wide Oracle process management system for managing refinery process data to increase yields and performance. As User Liaison conducted needs assessment to define system requirements for selection of LIMS systems used in refineries and the research center. Designed, coded, and implemented databases and scientific programs for several chemical applications to improve manufacturing performance. Applications included a relational database and material balance calculation system for pilot units; a mathematical model to investigate excess heat loss around a reactor during catalyst re-activation; a radioactive tracer study on commercial trickle bed reactors to understand unexpected low reactor performance; a kinetic model for hydrocarbon desulfurization.
