Through a rigorous investigation, both numerically and experimentally, this research has yielded invaluable insights into the influence of delamination size and location on frequency shifts, the development of a reliable surrogate model for predicting natural frequency shifts, and the effectiveness of various algorithms in identifying delamination severity. The outcomes of this research not only enrich the understanding of delamination in composite materials but also contribute to the advancement of safer and more reliable engineering solutions.

      During my time at Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), DRDO, I worked on the project "Ride Analysis of Full Tracked Vehicle with Hydro-Gas Suspension." The project aimed to understand vehicle vibration levels while negotiating different road profiles at varying speeds.I developed a ride dynamics model using Simulink, considering a nonlinear trailing arm suspension with 15 degrees of freedom. The model analyzed the bounce, pitch, and roll motion of the sprung mass, along with the bounce of 12 suspension stations. The Simulink model was validated against an equivalent dynamic model using MSC Adams.The project provided valuable insights into vehicle dynamics modeling and simulation. It also allowed for fine-tuning suspension properties and exploring vibration levels at specific components like engines and transmissions. The Simulink model proved useful for vehicle dynamic control studies and co-simulation with multi-physical domains.I am grateful for the guidance of Shri NS Sekar, Scientist 'E,' and the support from the Human Resource Development Division.
