My name is Umutcan Vargelci, and I am currently based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I am fluent in Turkish and English, with limited proficiency in Chinese. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science at Harvard University, where I am actively involved in the Harvard Blockchain Club and the Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative. My experience includes working as an Engineering Member at the Harvard Blockchain Club, where I studied blockchain technology and its applications, and as a Policy Researcher, where I developed research skills by collaborating with USCYBERCOM. I have also served as Treasurer of the Brooklyn Technical Policy Debate Team, receiving multiple awards for my speaking abilities. Additionally, I organized initiatives during the pandemic and interned at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, where I gained valuable legal research experience.
