    Involved in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of Deminarized water plant of streams A, B and C, each having a capacity of 150m/hr.* Observing safety and reporting any near miss, unsafe condition and unsafe act and making safety suggestions.* Plant start up and shut down safely.* Operating, monitoring and controlling flows, levels and temperature through distributed control system (DCS) (M/S VA TECH WABAG LTD INDIA) safely and efficiently * Periodical logging of parameters, regular routine checks of all equipments to ensure that they are functioning correctly in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOP).*Monitoring the Decarbornification process and taking decarbonated sample to lab to determine the efficiency of the decarbonator (550m3 /hr)*Monitoring the auto back wash filters (4000m3 /hr each for 4 Nos) and making sure it is back washing at the set point.* Shut down and startup the auto back wash filters and also prepare for strainer cleaning safely.* Portable water treatment using activated carbon filter (50m3/hr each for 2 streams).* Preparing calcium hypochloride and monitoring it’s dosin by pump stroke * Deminarized water treatment of 150m3/hr each for 3 streams, through cation exchanger, anion exchanger and mix bed exchanger of 150m3/hr each for 3 streams* Regenerating the stream when exhausted using sulphoric acid (strong cation resin) sodium hydroxide (strong anion resin), and both chemicals for mix bed and maintaining the flow rate for each regeneration steps in each exchangers.* Loading and unloading of resin in each exchangers* resin inspection in the exchangers* Maintaining the water quality* troubleshooting of Deminarised plants and pumps* Neutralizing the effluents at the neutralizing pit (450m3 )* Maintaining the Tank levels * Safety and fire training
