    Left Otahuhu College to work for the New Zealand Railways as a Freight Operator in 1984. Gained my Class 2 & 4 licence and F R T W endorsements. One of my achievements during this time was to represent the Auckland region at the National Forklift Competition held in Christchurch, 1989. Although I didn't win, it spoke very highly of my skill level and I could say that I was one of the top 10 forklift drivers in the country. It's a highly sought after skill by employers and a skill I still possess today.
