Jan 2015 - Present
I have very strong ties on Capitol Hill, based on over 30 years of activity in Washington, D.C. I am not a lobbyist, but plan to spend one week/month in D.C. assisting organizations through long standing contacts. I seek a modest retainer and no expenses. I can provide a list of powerful contacts on request; House and Senate. For references, I offer Congressman Lamar Smith, Senator John Cornyn and Karl Rove. I am also affiliated with an organization composed of young men with a minimum of15 years experience on the Hill.

My history does not fit within a few blocks. I went from mailboy to a jr. officer at Tenneco, with military and college in between. I then became an entreprneur (French for unemployed). I have since enjoyed success and survived failure. The only skill I possess is identifying opportunities, finding skills and acquiring funds. At one time my wife asked "why don't you just get a job" and my response was "I don't know how to do anything." My hyper right brain has enabled vision of opportunities, a few on target and a few ahead of the buying public. I can explain the root cause of the majority of today's bewildering problems if anyone is interested.

Primarily strategic efforts to find a potential buyer of the company. I was active in the industry association where I met representatives of companies that were likely buyers. Our average cost per share was $1.38 and when D&B acquired we received an average price of $35. I was instrumental in building the computer output microfilm industry and had the vision to predict its demise. Some well known investors were A.J. Foyt and Jack Valenti. A partner was Fidelity Ventures, Sam Bodman,CEO..

I learned the fundamentals of office automation and following military and returning to college returned to TGT (then Tenneco) to become Supervisor of the computer room, Manager of the systems department and Vice President of their bank computer operations. I then resigned due to nepotism and became a risk taker.

This was the last job I had that I understood. I met wonderful people and received encouragement to improve myself. I was the work flow and looked forward to working each day. The most wonderful company in history.
