Currently working in the highest lending threshold within NAB’s business banking arm, my current portfolio has in excess of $190m of lending. Over the past 12 months in this role, I have built an excellent rapport with our client base, providing excellent lending & administrative services. My current role is to assist clients with queries, provide advice on our products & work with the client & other specialists (accountants, valuers, quantity surveyors & solicitors) to obtain funding approval. My role involves regular face to face and phone meetings/conversations with existing & potential clients, working through what they are out to achieve then drafting a credit submission for approval. Day to day activities include;• Analysing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, debtors, creditors) & 3 way cash flow budgets to analyse customer’s primary and secondary exit.• Preparation of loan documentation for lending purposes & organisation of settlement with internal & external solicitors.• Requesting & reporting on monthly/quarterly/annual covenant requirements to ensure lending parameters are maintained. Any deterioration is reported to relevant approval authority.• Preparation of credit submissions ranging from $5m - $30m.• Assistance with all administrative queries & transfer of funds between internal & external bank accounts.• Whilst also completing my role, I volunteered to become a “Lean Champion”; this role involved analysing the banks processes and implement better practices to improve efficiency. Our centre received a rating of 4.8 out of 5 which was the highest in the country.• Strategic planning of client meeting to determine possible products or solutions for their business as well as identifying sales opportunities which provide a “win-win” scenario for relationship.
