Mainly for 2 or 3 clients who keep me busy 24/7. I work remotely on constant deadlines and have a lot of creative licence which I enjoy. However it is time to look abroad for clients who can afford remuneration congruent to the work load and level of work I produce. (EGO CHECK;)With the exchange rate what it is. I would be remiss not to take heed of this. Please feel free to contact me for examples of my work. Ranging from Animation/Editing to Script writing/concept development. From 3D animation to Hand Drawings/painting. From Brand development/logo design to Facilitating all creative for national campaigns for top corporates and brands.Post/Pre production to live mixing of visuals/vision mixing of Cameras and technical AV show producer.I have a strong knowledge of all the disciplines required of a well rounded creative director with a very strong handle on the technical aspects required to create unique concepts and then implement them.I have to admit I am borderline obsessive when it comes to keeping track of what is hot and what new advance or shift in tech, software or mindset that first adopters will benefit from. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I never promote myself only others so it does not come as easily.Troy Wells (creatlive)

Enterstage is primarily a staging and eventing company, although we also did promotional campaigns for many top notch brands and corporates as well as tv production.Working with tight deadlines and having to do everything from client brief, story board/scripting through to live show production/filming and post production of these events.one example would be Cape Town and Durban Fashion week (4 years running), for which i would take AV briefs from up to 50 designers and create their ’AV sets’ for their various shows, oversee the shooting style, do the vision mixing and camera calling for live screen for their shows and post edit all these shows for said designers. We would also create a production for television and it would be my job to oversee and manage a team to produce this edit from countless hours of footage. My many tasks and responsibilities are far too numerous too mention as each client’s needs and expectations were unique. This was exceptionally good for my skillset however, as this meant that with every new challenge an opportunity to learn something new would presented itself. This has always been something i strive for and hope to take my experience to new heights in the coming decade.Recommendation:Andrew BlackTop qualities: Great Results, Expert, CreativeThis is to confirm that Troy Wells worked for my various companies on a full time basis since 2003 - 2009.Troy is a very loyal person and takes great pride in his work paralleled with his strong creative edge.During his time with me, he met incredibly tough deadlines ,sometimes with very little creative and he came through with shining colours every time.I would gladly suggest Troy to anybody that is looking to utilise his talents he will bring value and fantastic work ethic to your company.

A steep learning curve truly describes my time working at Icity. We were the incumbent ’digital promotion’ wing of a successful brand/advertising agency in Cape Town.Icity together with this agency were responsible for creating and activating core strategic P2P and national campaigns for some of the top brands in South Africa. These campaigns were at the time very highly sophisticated and were deemed by many to be more technological and media rich than any other campaigns at the time.My core roles in Icity were many, as it was basically myself and Sean lange who would spearhead most of these campaigns, often times having to organise and co-ordinate a large team on nationwide campaigns and road shows, as well as creating all the associated media and technical functions that needed to be implimentedThis would range from pitch videos to the brands, call to action videos for the web and at the various events or public broadcast. These videos or applications could be Launching a new product/event etc ’on the fly’ highlights packages for big screens or doing live to screen filming and vision mixing. Then there was also always the post edits and ’best practice’ edits which the clients generally requested for their internal archives. It was not long before we came to the attention of many and Icity joined forces with Andrew Black, an entrepreneur in the staging/events/promotions and broadcasting industry. This was to start the next chapter in my life and one that taught me a lot more skills especially for creating high quality productions to facilitate large corporates and brands in the delivery their message using media and video as a vehicle of delivery.

Manage all creative aspects of Billabong south africa as the incumbant graphic Designer. This would include designing editorial magazine adds and booklets, do range development in the form of choosing coulors and prints as well as the design of many of the prints, doing the range catalogues and liasing with and overseeing the printing of the garments. It was during this period that i started showing an interest in videography, i saved up, bought mmyself a camera and then a computer so i could edit the footage. My love for creating captivating moving images and editing them so they became a unique story was born. This was also my reason for leaving Billabong, moving down to Cape Town and joining forces with Sean Lange at Icity for what was soon to be one of the most exciting and learning rich experiences of my life.*Recommendation*My name is Cheron Kraak, previously owner of Billabong S.A.Troy Wells was employed by me at that time and left to move his family to Cape Town.Since then he has worked freelance doing art, adverts, movies.I have always found him to be extremely competent, enthusiastic, creative and extremely good mannerisms. He hereby comes highly recommended.Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.RegardsCheron Kraak
