A boutique design firm, Studio IDC is responsible for a variety of projects from large scale resorts to boutique hotels and high-end residences. As a full service design and procurement firm, our employ begins with customized design work for each client, through competitive bidding and purchasing, to the consolidation and shipping process. Our projects, primarily based in the Caribbean, bring the challenges and rewards of working overseas. Responsibilities include: Coordinating design schemes, Developing client-driven art programs, Writing project specific contracts, Communicating with clients regarding contracts and budgets, Bookkeeping, Invoicing, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Analyzing Financial Reports, Payroll, Managing employee schedules and general human resource tasks. Most recently, successfully implementing a new company-wide Project Management software for better project tracking and internal time management.Additionally, with IDC, I have been able to travel for project meetings and installations to many islands in the Caribbean including Jamaica, Antigua, Barbados and Saint Lucia.

From coordination with the marketing team, to the selection of furnishings and finishes. I coordinate product development with project managers, reviewing shop drawings and developing strategic partnerships for a successful show.Through my work at BLUE LEAF, I have had several opportunities to travel to Asia and visit factories in Indonesia and Thailand. It has been an infinitely valuable experience, seeing furniture and accessories in production.
