I design, procure and deliver both tactically focused and large strategic ANPR projects covering Cheshire and the northwest. l head an ANPR support team and have embedded the ANPR product into the core policing model of both Cheshire police and the North West Motorway Policing Group. I am secretary of the northwest ANPR user group and chair the National ANPR Technical Advisory Group.My responsibilities also include strategic and tactical consultation, budgetary planning and control, business development, financial management, project funding, product support, supplier liaison, policy writing, partnership working and force collaborations.I approach all projects, whether large, small, straightforward or challenging with the same philosophy, if it's feasible find an effective, efficient and cost effective solution and make it happen.

Operational officer involved in many aspects of policing, including traffic patrol, motorway patrol and surveillance. I gained many qualifications including, but not limited to; Advanced class 1 car driver, Advanced class 1 motorcyclist. HGV class 1, Interview Skills and Stolen Vehicle Examination.From 2002 until retirement I was responsible for ANPR development, being a key figure in Cheshire's involvement with the Spectrum and Laser national programmes.
