    As a fall quarter intern for The College Tourist, my job was to mainly write travel articles as well participate in social media marketing events.Writing Articles: Comprised a process of experiencing travel and/or a destination after researching it, writing about it in a travel guide format, photographing the experience, designing cover photos and blog titles, editing the article, formatting the post to be appealing on the website, then promoting it via social mediaSocial Media Marketing Events:Actively participate in Twitter Chats by engaging live with the College Tourist community by answering questions over various travel related topics and themes. Post regularly planned themed social media posts such as Travel Tuesday on Instagram over a specific theme with the College Tourist team. Takeover the College Tourist Snapchat. Promote the College Tourist brand on many social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Snapchat.

    Eventorum, latin for "of events", is the current events journal at Pacific Union College. It is hosted by the History Department, but is open to all writers from any department. My role for Eventorum has been primarily writing feature articles, but also included editing as well as recruiting writers.
