      In an earlier life (1967-73) I was heavily involved in the music industry notably as a club and music promoter, DJ, journalist and, in the early 1970's, manager of a music retail outlet. I also had a couple of years working as an assistant transport manager dealing with a fleet of 650 or so vehicles throughout the UK. This included aspects such as fleet purchasing, insurance facilities and overseeing accident insurance claims. First job when I left school was as a clerical assistant for the Inland Revenue (as it was known then) - that lasted less than 12 months.
