Unpaid work experience during my PPL training course, general airfield maintenance and aircraft ground support - assisted in refuelling, short-taxi and daily (A)-checking of aircraft fleet; 3 Ikarus C42 Microlights. My main motivation for doing this was simply my love of interacting with aeroplanes, and was a chance to more thoroughly build my understanding of the lifecycle and operational conditions of light training aircraft.
