Reporting to VP, led diversified team and directed 5 major vendors in the creation and multi channel yearly delivery of 120 M documents (1.2 billion pages) with an operating budget of $100 M. • Led comprehensive transformation strategy and managed integration initiatives for the Medicare Regulatory and Marketing Communication Programs. Creative solutions presented and approved by Marketing and Medicare teams drove an 80% improvement in content creation timeframe, enabled Six Sigma quality, and resulted in a $5 M per year improvement in operating cost. • Directed the Business Process Outsource (BPO) of warehousing, print, and fulfillment services to 2 vendors. The task included the establishment of state of the art processes for 60 Programs and the outplacement of 50 employees. Transformation was completed in one year and enabled a $2 M yearly savings.• Directed the procurement effort to evaluate and select transactional print vendor which upon successful implementation lowered operating cost by $2 M per year.• Led talent development of staff to manage individual and team performance via a Six Sigma reliability process which measures success based upon meeting operational and financial goals. Received President and CIO awards for team’s year to year achievement of Six Sigma quality and lowering cost by an average of $5M per year over a 5 year period.

Directed all aspects for the installation of new clients with respect to PBM activities. This required close coordination with Sales, Account Management, IT, Operations, and Finance teams in implementing plan designs, financial structure for claims processing, communications requirements, and billing. Installation period ranged from 30 to 90 days in this fast pace environment.• Successfully implemented a $600M account which required major changes to eligibility and claim processing systems. Developed the requirements for innovative solutions which allowed for a successful installation in 90 days. All implementation guarantees were met and the client gave my team members several awards for their achievements.• Managed the BPO of claim ingestion and adjudication process to a vendor which resulted in a $1 M yearly savings. • Participated in numerous best and final meetings with prospective clients. Innovative approach and solutions convinced clients Medco Health could implement their programs without disrupting service to their members. Successful outcome resulted in billons of dollars in new revenue for Medco Health.• Implemented a disciplined and SOP driven approach to manage the implementation of new clients. The approached involved close interaction with all functional areas to ensure that client requirements were fully understood. As a result, Medco never had to pay for a missed implementation guarantee.
