Tech Editor, Final Pass Editor
-
Nov 2017 - Present
I get to tech edit tutorials written by authors on the Unity Team. As of March 2021, I'm also a final pass editor, guiding tutorials all the way from outline to publishing.I originally learned to program through raywenderlich.com tutorials (in addition to hand-me-down books and scouring the interwebs) so passing the tryout and joining this amazing team brought everything full circle for me, in a way. It's one of the fondest memories of my career and truly a magical moment; I'm not crying, you're crying :]

Co-Founder and Lead Software Engineer
-
Jul 2009 - Dec 2017
Co-founded with my brother, we primarily developed mobile applications for iOS and Android but would sometimes cross into other specializations. Projects included games, publications, online companies, churches, charities, and city development. The vast majority of my experience in the industry comes from our adventures. We'd take a contract in a language/platform/framework I'd never used before, deliver a product, rinse and repeat. We never once missed a deadline or shipped something we weren't proud of.Ask me about it some time. It was a wild ride!
