    VESSEL PROTECTION OFFICER. My current job I’m doing is anti-piracy on ships that pass through the High Risk Area (HRA). I started my Maritime career Oct 2012 and have been busy throughout. My main task is to keep the crew, cargo and ship safe from pirates. I'm currently deployed as a Team leader for my company, working with all different nationalities. I've done more than 33 transits in the last 36 months, and completed them all safely.

    BRITISH ARMY 1 PARA SPECIAL FORCES SUPPORT GROUP (SFSG). My main task in my unit was supporting United Kingdom Special Forces (UKSF) wherever they deployed in the world. I was in a rifle company for 3 years and moved over to support company for 1.3 years and have completed 2 tours over this period. My main task in both of my tours was to look after my section of Afghan Task Force (ATF) and make sure they were up to date with their training that involved heavy weapons, room clearance and Improvise Explosive Device (IED) awareness. Every month a new section would do the training which was supervised by me. Also during this time I was deployed with a section of ATF as a Cordon Commander and had to make sure that my cordon team was to a high standard and ready for the task we were set out to do. I did a training package in Kenya working with the Kenyan Special Forces (SF). My main task was to train my section of Kenyans on mobility exercises and getting them to a high standard ready to deploy to the borders of Somalia.
