    Sourcing & Sustainability Brought into the team of this international luxury fragrance house based in Muscat, I source perfumes and raw chemicals, tanneries for leather and exotic skins as well as first and secondary packaging, including atomizers. Here, I build high-yield relationships with sourcing suppliers and sub-contractors across Fragrance, Luxury Leather Goods, Accessories, Bath & Body products and Candles/Home Fragrance categories. I also champion sustainability, working with suppliers on sustainable packaging as well as creating and information for Distributors and Retailers on progress in this area.Product DevelopmentCollaborating with the CEO, Creative Director, Designer and Operations Manager, I lead new product launches, including overseeing the critical path for each product from design brief, sampling, approvals compatibility, ageing and longevity testing through to manufacturing, shipping, production and distribution. Procurement & Planning (New / Current Products)Overseeing New and Current Product procurement functions, I raise Purchase Orders with suppliers and check against the order confirmations for costs and shipping dates. Here, I maximise standardisation across procurement processes, including creating codes for materials and finished goods, raising BOMS, issuing BOMS and placing orders on materials. I also collaborate with freight forwarders, negotiating price and service levels and then gaining contractual agreement as well as ensuring on-time custom clearance and delivery.Quality ControlEnsuring quality of all products align with internal and external standards, I perform Quality Control tests, Compatibility tests as well as Longevity and Ageing tests for New Products. Here, I guarantee compliance with IFRA, EU & FDA legislations on product formulas and packaging as well as maintaining a detailed Product Bible and ensuring adherence to its standards.
