    My military career was spent building and honing my HR knowledge beginning within technical training and then moving into the various specialty areas of HR. Early on, my leadership recognized my grit and placed me on an elite HR team to grow my perspective and broaden my knowledge. During the Gulf War, to include both Desert Shield and Desert Storm, I served at the USAF Headquarters base in Langley, Virginia. My primary role was to manage proper field staffing to include activating reserve units throughout the world and replenishing qualified teams when needed. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.
