    In this role I managed the operation of High Lodge, the Forestry Commission’s premier Visitor Centre in the East of England with over 50 km of waymarked trails, an extensive outdoor wild play area, three large onsite business partners, including GoApe! and Churchill Catering (with combined turnover of over £2 million). My role includes giving strategic direction and operational support and line management to a team of 13 staff supporting Business, National, District and site priorities. High Lodge attracts nearly 500,000 visitors per annum and is part of the Forest Live Programme which attracts an additional 40,000 visitors over one weekend. Consistently delivered increased profitability and at the same time improving the VisitEngland Quality Assessment score at the last two annual inspections.
