    With the goal of more fully understanding the energy industry, I spent the winter as an Operator with the Production Enhancement (fracking) division of Halliburton out of the Williston, North Dakota yard. While working in extreme temperatures during 115-hour weeks, I maintained the massive pumps involved in the fracking process, worked in the chemicals department, and assisted in all operations of the ground crew.
