    As Vice President of Landscape Architecture, my roles at BWA were very diverse. I was responsible for land planning for our larger projects including mixed-use projects, single & multi-family developments, parks & schools and commercial projects. My responsibilities also included landscape architectural design, civil/site design, and project management. Another role that I have done at every place I have worked is marketing. At BWA this included preparation of company brochures, RFQ & RFP's and the development of new professional relationships.

    During my senior year at WVU I worked part time as an assitant to the City Planner. I performed numerous studies of roads, traffic and parking for Morgantown, WV. I also used this time to complete my senior project which was a riverfront park. The project was a collaboration between myself and several classmates, the freshman class (who helped build a scale model) and the Planning Department. Our efforts came to fruition several years later when the park became a reality and turned a once forgotten part of town back into a vibrant space.
