I started working at vida as their In-house Designer and worked my way up to Marketing Manager after 3 years. Vida was a stand-alone high-street coffee café when I joined the team. Then the brand expanded into the forecourt environment which took our store count from 80 to 130+ over a year.I created content and artwork that was area specific for the stores, I would create a set of promotions for our high street café and another set for our forecourt environment. As I moved into the position of Head of Design I had 2 designers to manage. I was responsible for briefing them on projects and events, to manage their workflow and ensure we meet our design deadlines. We added a social media manager to our team whom I supervised. As Head of Design, my main duties were to brainstorm creative concepts for new product launches, I had to ensure consistency across all brand communications. I had the opportunity to work alongside the Marketing Manager and learned a lot from her.We set up photo shoots in our flagship store, on occasion I would do it on my own or our social media manager would take nice food shots. For campaign artwork regarding a new product launch, we would set up on a larger scale and have on occasion hired a professional food stylist. Working with her I learned a lot of tips and tricks when shooting food.I was offered the position of Marketing Manager and had to manage a team of 6 people. I set up KPI’s with my team and guided them to achieve their personal goals within the company. As Marketing Manager, my duties included managing and adjusting our marketing calendar and all department deadlines. I reported weekly to the CEO and also attended weekly meetings between the head of departments. During my time as the Marketing Manager, I managed our annual price increase nationwide. I launched 16 new products into our high street stores and 12 new products into our forecourt environment.
