This role was created to better integrate the communications and product functions within the marketing team. In combining these roles, I became a light commercial vehicle ‘product expert’, working with the planning, product and communications teams assisting with the end-to-end strategy for Holden Colorado. This position was offered to me as part of the GM Holden 2016 Co-op student program. The purpose of this role was to assist the brand manager in the planning, development and execution of a portfolio of Holden carlines brand marketing strategies. The role required stakeholder engagement with a variety of areas within the business and external creative, digital and media agencies to ensure campaigns are brought to market. Key Achievements:- Worked within the brand team that launched the all-new 2018 Holden Commodore integrated campaign.- Led the Holden Commodore Australian development digital content video.- Assisted in the implementation of new creative platforms to evolve the Colorado messaging and broaden the appeal of the vehicle, firstly through “Truck Swap” (2016) and then the “Best of Both” (2017) campaigns. - Led Holden’s Survivor partnership (2017), working with partnering agencies, to successfully deliver an integrated partnership, for the Holden Trailblazer. - Assisted in an automotive first creative campaign for the new 2017 Holden Trax. “Mobile Made” – was a campaign shot entirely on mobile phones.- Co-led the 2017 Holden Barina marketing campaign, in my first year at Holden. This included working with internal stakeholders along with external creative, digital and media agencies, to develop and execute the campaign.
