    A Course Marshal is an employee empowered by the Match and Green Committee of a golf club to mete out penalties on the course and supervise proper golf etiquette. This role is crucial to ensure that the values of the game are maintained at all times. As a Course Marshall the role entails but is not limited to some of the following responsibilities: • Supervise that the clubs golf competitions run in a proper manner relating to speed of play and the rules of golf• Supervise the standards of the game in relations to golf attire and on course behaviour• Communicate with members and social golf players in a proper manner, educating them on the rules of the game• Develop extensive reports for the General Manager and Operations Manager addressing operational issues observed during my line of work

    During my undergraduate studies in Norway, I coached football teams for 3 years. I held positions as assistant and head coach for the age groups 15-19. During my last year I was hired by the National Football Association to coach selected juniors (12-13 yrs) from the state. I was the youngest coach to ever hold a position like this and before leaving to Australia I was offered to lead a new project directed at developing future players in another state.• I coached different age groups stretching from 15 to 19, meeting the demands that these different age groups had• I arranged overseas trips with juniors only a couple of years younger than me, showing maturity at an early age• During my time coaching the state teams, I developed progress reports on the players, analysing the demands of the game
