The HBS Immersion Experience Program (IXP) was an off-campus learning opportunity for second-year MBA students that allowed them to work on projects for small and medium-sized businesses and communities around the globe. It combined the HBS case method of instruction with hands-on, field-based learning. HBS staff assisted with the complex logistics and execution of these trips.The Brazil trip was designed by Associate Professors Aldo Musacchio and Thales Teixeira. We met with the following companies: Allied Advanced Technologies, BrasilAgro, Clearsale, Dafiti.com.br, Globo, Groupon Brazil, Insper, JGP Investimentos, LIGHT, Maracana Stadium, Petrobras S.A., Vale S.A.• Assisted with the course and travel preparation prior to the 2-week January immersion• Executed all details of the program schedule on the ground in Brazil and made sure multiple, overlapping activities and meetings ran smoothly• Responsible for the safety and welfare of 27 Harvard Business School students while in country
