• Data analysis of laboratory results and production outputs to identify trends and offer solutions.• Aseptic collection of swabs, water samples, food samples for analysis • Media preparation, equipment sterilization and plating microbiology samples• Chemical analysis of samples (included but not limited to titrations, standardization of chemicals, centrifugation, sugar concentrations and potency of cleaning chemicals)• Incoming inspection of raw materials and ingredients for conformance.• Developing, implementing, monitoring and updating of HAACP plans as well as standard operating procedures for both Quality Control and Production.• Resolving customer complaints and conducting market visits.• Training of food handlers in GMPs and GHPs.• Implementing and auditing of Food Safety Management System and Quality Management System• Generating weekly and monthly departmental reports.• Generating the departmental budget and management of departmental costs.• Upraising performance of quality control personnel.• Investigating causes of product losses and implementing corrective measures.• Implementing health and safety as well as environmental activities and measures for Quality department.
