    My role is to ensure effective methodology of stopes and development end operations and ensure safe working practices, continuous inspections of panels and/or development ends conditions; planning to achieve operational targets and monitoring the availability of resources. I am aware that I have legal accountability for stoping panels/development ends blasting in terms of the MHSA. Further, my role is to ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox) and adherence to explosives control and storage procedures, ensuring stope width control/or over-break control, proper face marking, direction lines and grade lines as per the mine plans. Record and communicate any deviations from the normal blasting sequence to the mining Shift supervisor and assist in implementation of corrective actions.
