SUMMARY OF DUTIES • Represents the Credit Union to the members in a friendly, positive, and professional manner greeting members and guests as they enter the facility and during their visit.• Responsible for sales and delivery of Credit Union products and services to new and existing members including taking loan applications, opening new deposit accounts, and helping individual members use the ATM.• Actively promotes the use of Credit Union technology including Telephone Banking, Online Banking, Bill Pay, and other automated services utilized by the Credit Union.• Interviews loan applicants and gathers required information for a credit application.• Handles all monetary transactions for members (i.e., deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, miscellaneous receipts) and other normal inquiries.• Researches and answers member questions regarding their accounts and responds positively to members’ requests, problems, or complaints.• Answers incoming phone calls and correspondence provides general information and directs specific questions to the appropriate departments.• Maintains positive member relations via telephone and personal contact and is responsible for proper telephone etiquette.• Audit and compliance procedures respecting loan applications and new account openings.
