Responsible for the design of all Antenna assembly and their components on Solidworks. The assignment of all part numbers and the creation of bills of material, routings, and product versions using SAP. Other responsibilities include Administrator of PDMworks Vault, creation of all FIS for inspection, Administrator of all engineering ECN’s, and the design of assembly tooling.

Responsible for the design of all assembly fixtures, inspection fixtures, testing fixtures, and all the purchasing of materials for the manufacturing of all fixtures. I was also responsible for the design of all Micro Optics Tooling such as Plano Blocking Tools, Diamond Grinding Tools, Concaved & Convex Polishing Tools, all Correcting Tools, Single & Multi Lens Blocking Tools, Prism Blocking Tools, and all Coating Fixtures. I worked very closely with the Optics Department and the Optics Design Engineers. I have close contact with the in house Tool Room and also with outside vendors. All design work is done using Solidworks and to ISO 9000 standards. I also have over 15 years experience using all types of measuring equipment from Dial Indicators to comparators.
