    I worked on set as a videographer and photographer on the set of a senior student capstone short film about an autistic man who falls in love with a humanoid AI. I used a Black Magic 4k pocket cinema camera, with a small rig setup. Synopsis of the short film: Set in the year 2110, AI Android’s have been introduced to the world. They have a humanoid shape and are able to think freely and mimic human emotions. One day, Boris, a man with autism meets an AI Android named Mary Jane. They date and begin to fall in love. At one point in the relationship, Boris and Mary Jane have a major misunderstanding, which causes Boris to pull away from Mary Jane. Mary Jane is hurt by this. With the help of his best friend named Doug, Boris realizes his mistake and tries to reconcile with Mary Jane. Will they be able to reconcile their relationship and put this whole misunderstanding behind them, or will their relationship go bust?     I worked on set for 3 day shoots on a short film called “We Gathered Here” by writer and director James Fedorko and the main actor, Justin C. Schilling who starred in a Netflix thriller movie called Hostage House. I worked as a second assistant camera and I was in charge of the slate and assisted with cinematography in some scenes. As the slate person I had to use the board to clap at every single scene and I had to keep changing what scene and cut it is.
