    The internship is based on-site where research is being conducted on vertical aeroponics farming. It's an exciting opportunity that allows me to see the challenges associated with new technologies and the importance of proof of concept. What's great about this internship is that I can also see the company's business side and the ways in which goals and milestones are set so that progress is seen. Additionally, I will be working closely with plant scientists to understand the needs of the plants and how they are affected by the environment. The engineers are working on solutions to any issues that arise. I am learning so much and can't wait to see what lies ahead!
