- Kick off meetings with the stakeholders of the project- Define all entry and exit criteria of projects and set the proper expectations with the internal and external stakeholders- Prepare scope of work documents (SOWs)- Generating schedules and keep track of project progress- Working closely with the Engineering Resources Manager to forecast for resources requirement and required skills.- Recruiting and managing the subcontractors to run the testing activities.- Executing projects and applying the good practices of PMI PMBOK standards.- Using the Earned Value Management system (EVMS)- Aligning Sandvine’s roadmap with the projects’ schedules.- Interfacing with Sandvine’s Product Management team and the Sandvine’s Support Organization to escalate, follow up with the Technical issues, discuss KPIs and customer requested ATPs.- Supporting the pre-sales activities by reviewing the SoW documents, responsibility matrix, Project Plan, Description documents and customer RFP responses. - Running weekly calls with the project teams to update the project statuses.- Seek sign off and acceptance from the customer on project deliverables- Conduct postmortem meetings internally and run customer satisfaction surveys- Work closely with finance department to follow up the billing milestones of the projects and revenue recognition status of projects- Technologies: LTE, 3G and UMTS, 2G, Cable, WiMAX, DSL, WiFi, FTTx, GSM, Satellite …etc.- Solutions and interfaces: Online Charging (Gy), Policy Enforcement (Gx), Record Generation (UDRs), Quota Management (QM), Network Analytics, Fair Share Traffic Management (FSTM), Network and subscriber Protection, In-Browsing Notification, SOAP provisioning, RADIUS, DHCP, Subscriber mapping …etc.

This team consists of around 20 engineers who are expert in RF and IP aspects of the WiMax network.- Got extensive training on WiMax Motorola products and e2e WiMax architecture. Motorola has a WiMax-e solution that uses the IEEE 802.16e standards.- Deployed a WiMax network in France-Paris for TDF initially consisting of 18 WiMax sites.- Managed trials for TECOM-Dubai, Neotel-South Africa, Vodacom-South Africa, WiMaxTelecom-Austria, WorldMax-Netherlands, and MaxTelecom-Bulgaria.- Preparing the pre-trial documentation such as Scope of Work documents, Project plans, acceptance tests and responsibility matrix.- Creating the WiMAX BoMs and placing the orders for the trials.- Running several WiMAX workshops in EMEA to leverage the WiMAX experience in EMEA region.
