As the Clinical Program Manager (CPM), I am charged with providing leadership, direction, and day-to-day supervision of all Residential programs at The Children's Home. The CPM is responsible for the direct clinical supervision to Case Managers/Therapists for the purpose of treatment planning process. The CPM reviews psychosocial histories, monthly treatment summaries, and admission and discharge documentation for accuracy and direction in clinical interventions, as well as, case management services. CPM is also charged with knowledge of basic personnel management concepts with an emphasis on staffing; employee performance evaluations; development and implementation of a therapeutic milieu environment; knowledge of applicable federal, state and local regulations and accrediting agencies; basic required skills include oral and written communication skills and computer skills, knowledge of basic fiscal and budgetary systems, ability to motivate children and adults, and skill in handling and coordinating numerous diverse tasks. CPM supervises Case Managers/Therapists, Academic staff, psychologist, psychiatrist, and Residential Supervisor for the Diagnostic Unit. Collaborates with all staff to ensure the appropriate delivery of services to all clients.

As a "Confinement Review Specialist" I was charged with monitoring the juveniles length of stay while in detention. These youth had been adjudicated and awaiting bed space in various placements. I was in charge of monitoring the youth detained at both the Alfred D. Noyes Children's Center and Waxter (girl's detention center). In addition to administrative duties, I also provided crisis intervention for various high-profile youth placed at the facility at the request of the Superintendent.
