I began my career in television as a master control operator. At a small sized television market it is commonplace for one person to take on several jobs within the station. I also operated the camera during news segments as well as other newscast responsibilities. I quickly moved up the ladder into full-time news videographer and on air reporter. I would cover a news story in all aspects of the storytelling from start to finish. Gathering the video and facts, writing the story and editing the final piece for broadcast.
