I started out tellering. Moved to receptionist,then loan typist. Became a lead teller. Took all the classes and became a loan officer, I did the scheduling, monthly report on money orders cashiers checks ect... Was an assistant manager with my duties. opened and closed bank. I could teller and then another minute open an account, or do a loan. Dealt with angry customers. Supervised a branch, Had many classes on learning about people and to actively listen to what they want, It really help diffuse a difficult situation. I also helped open a branch from the ground up and helped with all the training, before returning to my branch. I hired and sometimes fired employees.
